Inspiring Community Leadership

The Barwon Community Leadership Program is an exciting new development for leaders in Geelong’s under provided communities. Participants will be offered a unique life changing opportunity to enhance and develop their leadership capacity by meeting, exchanging ideas and working together at regular intervals throughout the 10 month program. The program seeks to broaden participants understanding of the issues, opportunities and challenges facing their communities and equip them with the skills to bring about change. It will also provide participants with a solid network of like minded people who can assist them in taking the next step toward developing and implementing their vision.

The Barwon Community Leadership Program:

• Inspires participants to ‘take the helm’ and shape their communities
• Provides participants with the skills and knowledge to take the next step
• Empowers and encourages participants to maintain a lifelong commitment to community leadership
