Leadership & Governance
- Our programs foster and support the development of Geelong's future leaders.
- We boldly question the effectiveness of local government structures and lobby to maximize the efficacy of our civil stewardships
Social Inclusion
- We advocate for the social and economic infrastructure necessary to provide the opportunity for each citizen to fulfill their potential
Transport & Infrastructure
- We lobby for improved facilities in our region, specifically in the areas of education, health, transport, communications, and housing
Arts & Culture
- We promote Geelong as an attractive location for cultural, sporting and tourism pursuits that recognise the outstanding natural geographic and social features of the region
Economic Drivers
- We pursue policies to improve community prosperity. We support innovative and dynamic policies that stimulate employment and economic opportunities by promoting the strengths of the region's diverse infrastructure, human resources and potential for growth
Organisation structure & governance

The Committee for Geelong is a non-profit establishment. The organisation is governed by a board consisting of around twenty members lead by the Chairperson. Membership to the Committee Board is decided by election each year, and all passionate members are encouraged to nominate for a place.
A Board of Management, ensures the Committee stays true to its strategic direction and operating principles.
