Committee for Geelong announces Bendigo Bank as 10th Anniversary Celebrations Major Partner

The Committee for Geelong (CfG) is proud to announce Bendigo Bank as Major Partner for its 10th Anniversary Celebrations. Bendigo Bank will assist CfG to celebrate its 10th year of transforming Geelong through its well-regarded leadership programs.

"Since 2006, the Leaders for Geelong (LfG) program has completed in excess of 30 projects with tangible benefits to the Geelong community.  Bendigo Bank also has a history of giving back to the Geelong community and has supported the LfG program over the last decade," Rebecca Casson, CEO of CfG said,

"Bendigo Bank is a valued Corporate Plus member of the CfG and we are extremely pleased to have them partnering with us on the 10th Anniversary Celebrations."

Bendigo Bank will support the CfG to host a 10th Anniversary Leadership Conference and Gala in November this year.

Bendigo Bank Regional Manager and LfG alumni Mel Pearce said, "My participation in the LfG program reaffirmed that professional development is paramount to remaining connected and informed, along with investing in and placing a value on yourself. Two years on from LfG I have been fortunate to join the Future Funds Board at Northern Bay College and have secured a promotion to Regional Manager with Bendigo Bank,"

"A decade of running these fantastic leadership programs is a great achievement and should be celebrated, and for this reason Bendigo Bank have partnered with CfG."

Participants in the CfG's leadership programs learn about the challenges and opportunities shaping the Geelong region, engage with opportunities to address them and become part of an enduring and rewarding network.

The CfG's Leaders Alumni is made up of more than 300 graduates from the CfG's programs including LfG, Barwon Community Leaders and Leading, Educating and Advocating for People with a Disability (LEAD) Barwon.
