Join us for an update on The Aboriginal Employment Taskforce which aims to activate public, private and community sector employment and career development opportunities for local Aboriginal people. 

The work of the Taskforce will include engaging and supporting the private sector to employ local Aboriginal people. 

As local businesses, the Taskforce wants Committee for Geelong members to engage in a discussion to identify your future skills and training requirements to support Aboriginal employment. 

Advocating and providing information about the Taskforce will be Member for Geelong, Christine Couzens MP and Sharelle McGuirk, Senior Policy Officer at the Dept. of Families, Fairness and Housing.  

The briefing will be delivered online via MS Teams.
