The Committee for Geelong will welcome Paul Davis, CEO of Wadawurrung Traditional Owner Aboriginal Corporation to inform our members on the Healthy Country Plan, which was launched late 2020. As we discuss the Future of Central Geelong, it is important to include the continuing connection to Culture and Country, which provides Wadawurrung Traditional Owners with strength to practice and pass on tens of thousands of years of knowledge.  As Traditional Owners, Wadawurrung People are committed to working with neighbours, government agencies, land and water managers and the broader community to protect and heal Country together for all people.  Paleert Tjaara Dja (Let’s make Country good together) Wadawurrung Country Plan 2020-2030 invites a respectful working, learning and committed sharing together approach based on cultural knowledge and practised.
