APCO’s fourth consecutive Canstar Blue award for Most Satisfied Customers - Petrol & Service Stations is something we are incredibly proud of, but for us, this recognition has always been about our people.
For four years running, Australians have rated APCO highest for customer satisfaction, and at the heart of that achievement are the people who show up every day to serve their local communities with care, consistency, and genuine connection.
As a family owned Australian independent business, APCO believes service stations can be much more than just a place to fill up the car. They can be somewhere customers grab their morning award winning barista made coffee, enjoy fresh cafe food made on site daily, pick up groceries on the way home, or simply be welcomed by a familiar face and friendly conversation. It’s about creating convenient, community focused destinations that genuinely make everyday life easier for locals and travellers.
That community spirit is reflected in so many of our Retailers across the Geelong region and beyond.
People like Damian and Sue Berg, who started at APCO East Geelong before becoming Retailers at APCO Barwon Heads. Damian and Sue have been part of the APCO journey for 26 years and continue to bring a strong sense of local connection and care to their community every day.
San Nabati first began working with his family at APCO Cranbourne before taking on APCO Newcomb with the support of his wife Gelan and children. More than 12 years later, his passion for customer service and community remains at the centre of everything he does.
At APCO South Geelong, Justin Brady has spent more than 20 years building relationships with customers, supported by his wife Taryn and children. His dedication and consistency are a perfect example of the values APCO is built on.
At APCO Waurn Ponds, Craig and Rachel O’Loughlin have been Retailers since 2022, balancing family life alongside running a busy site. They bring warmth, understanding and a strong community focus to their store.
Dean Hinch began his APCO career in the Support Office before becoming Retailer at APCO Lara in 2017. Ryan Dawson is a second generation Retailer whose father Darryl began with APCO two decades ago, Ryan now leads APCO Mt Duneed, continuing a family legacy built on hard work and community connection.
These stories are what make APCO special. Behind every coffee, every friendly greeting, and every customer interaction are people who genuinely care.
This award belongs just as much to our loyal customers as it does to our teams, their support allows us to continue growing while staying true to what matters most: local people, fair pricing, quality food and coffee, and friendly service customers can rely on all day every day.
